Foundation Health Partners seeks an accomplished senior finance leader to oversee the accounting and controller functions in beautiful, family friendly Fairbanks, Alaska.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this is an exceptional opportunity to join the most comprehensive health system serving Interior Alaska as an integral member of the senior leadership team with a seat at the table on strategic planning and key financial decisions. This executive has oversight to plan, lead, direct, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting operations across general ledger, accounts payable, treasury, payroll, and cost reporting functions. This leader is also responsible for FHP’s complete and timely annual audit and tax submissions.

Position Summary

The Senior Finance Leader oversees all day-to-day accounting operations of Foundation Health Partners entities across general ledger, accounts payable, treasury, payroll, and cost reporting functions. This leader is also responsible for FHP’s complete and timely annual audit and tax submissions.

Position Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Master of Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant (MBA or CPA) is highly desirable or equivalent work experience with an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, cost accounting and healthcare reimbursement methodologies preferred.
• Requires a proficiency level typically attained with seven (7) or more years of direct experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in leadership.
• Requires ability to prepare detailed operating and financial reports using advanced computer skills.
• Requires strong interpersonal, leadership and communication/presentation skills.
• Experience managing professional-level staff highly preferred.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud experience preferred.
