Trennis has over 20 years of C-Suite experience in academia and healthcare industries.Prior to establishing TL Jones and Associates, Trennis held significant roles with Ascension Seton Healthcare including Chief Administrative Officer, preceded by his position as a Member of the Board of Trustees.
Trennis focuses on providing consulting services that help healthcare organizations to uncover their greatest opportunities for growth and improvement. He offers healthcare clients a broad industry prospective, which is essential to developing programs that act as a catalyst for value creation and a competitive advantage.
Prior to joining Seton Healthcare, Trennis served for 5 years as Senior Vice President/National Managing Director for the Higher Education Market of AIG VALIC, one of the nation’s largest companies specializing in retirement planning services. Earlier, he was a principal with Blackrock Investments (Barclays Global Investors), the world’s largest tax-exempt money manager. Prior to Barclays he served as Chief Human Resources Executive for the University of Texas System, an organization that includes nine academic and six medical institutions totaling over 84,000 employees.
Trennis received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
