Opportunity

HealthPartners, an $8.8B integrated healthcare provider and health insurance organization headquartered in Minnesota, is seeking a highly qualified and collaborative finance professional as its next Senior Manager of Corporate and Health Plan Finance Reporting.


As a system-level Senior Manager with a runway for upward professional development, this individual will hold a vital combination role leading financial statement reporting, auditing, and filing timelines for both the Health Plan and Care Delivery businesses at HealthPartners, with a heavy focus primarily on Health Plan statutory/GAAP reporting, regulatory filings, and audits. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven finance leader looking for growth and exposure working side-by-side with enterprise executives, including the system CFO and Health Plan CFO. For the right and qualified individual, a Director level role can be available.

Position Summary

  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • Regulatory reporting and audits, including the preparation of external audit reports (GAAP, STAT, FEHBP, and Medicare Cost Plan Reports) and timely/accurate reporting to all governmental agencies (State HMO, NAIC)
  • Cost allocation and financial performance
  • Management of financial reporting team
  • Financial analysis and projects

Position Requirements

Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • CPA preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance and/or accounting that includes at least 3 years supervising a professional staff.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the health insurance industry.
  • Experience in health plan insurance and statutory reporting strongly preferred.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud experience preferred.

Compensation

An attractive compensation, benefits, and relocation package will be offered with a base salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 yearly plus bonus, commensurate with the candidate's experience. For the right and qualified individual, a Director level role can be available.
