Prisma Health, South Carolina’s largest not-for-profit health organization, is seeking a visionary leader for the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Payor Strategies and Risk Based Contracting.

Furthermore, this is an opportunity for a committed health expert to further develop Prisma’s Greenville and Columbia home markets.

Position Summary

The Senior Vice President of Payor Strategies and Risk Based Contracting will evaluate, negotiate and secure financially and administratively favorable contracts with new and existing health plans/managed care organizations, employers and risk based joint ventures with commercial and governmental HMO's. This forward looking position will develop and support strategies and initiatives for Prisma Health to adapt to ongoing payment reforms and evolving payment methodologies as Prisma moves from traditional fee for service contracts to management of covered lives via risk based gain sharing arrangements to full capitation arrangements. This would include joint ventures with payors and governmental HMO's or direct contracting with employers. Fosters professional relationships with private and public payor executives and large group employers and serves as the principal liaison between Prisma Health and managed care payors and employers.
