UMass Memorial Health seeks an experienced and collaborative leader to serve as its next Associate Vice President & Chief Privacy Officer. A unique opportunity to lead an important function in a high-performing, nationally ranked health system and Academic Medical Center (AMC), this new leader will oversee the privacy program across the AMC’s growing network of hospitals, clinics, and other sites of care. This role affords the privacy executive an opportunity to enhance and refine an existing privacy program while driving organizational change in response to the ever-evolving policy and regulatory environment.

Position Summary

The Associate Vice President & Chief Privacy Officer manages the planning, implementation, oversight, auditing, monitoring and ongoing operation of an effective Privacy program that meets the requirements of applicable federal and state regulations. This leader collaborates with UMass Memorial Health’s Chief Information Security Officer to ensure coordination between the Privacy program and the Information Security program.
