Opportunity

ArchCare is seeking an experienced and strategic on-site Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an extraordinary mission-driven organization in a strong financial position as it continues its role as the area's preeminent continuing care community. ArchCare and its affiliated entities provide acute, post-acute, rehab, home health, hospice, housing, and other care services across New York State.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record of success leading highly complex organizations, preferably in both acute and post-acute spaces. They must be an effective business strategist, highly collaborative, able to work alongside the CEO, other senior leaders, and the Board to ensure strategic financial stewardship and excellence in operational execution. This person should preferably hold an active CPA, experience as a first or second level executive with leadership responsibilities, as well as a working knowledge of the Medicaid and Medicare systems in the state of New York. The CFO will report directly to Scott LaRue, ArchCare's President and CEO.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant healthcare financial management experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Finance leadership role within Hospital System
  • Post acute and managed care experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and familiarity with Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines
  • Significant experience in cost reporting including Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance reports.
  • Experience in dealing with State Regulators, Department of Financial Services (DFS) OIG, Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG), DOL, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Proven success in improving revenue cycle effectiveness and driving financial performance in healthcare organizations
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a track record of problem-solving and financial innovation


Compensation

An attractive compensation package including a base salary in the range of $500-$700,000, bonus, benefits, and relocation will be offered commensurate with the candidate's experience.
