Keck Medicine of USC (University of Southern California) is seeking a dynamic and transformational leader as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The CHRO will serve as the chief people strategist for the health system and ensure all human resources programs and initiatives support the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the institution. Reporting to the CEO, the CHRO will directly participate in institutional planning and decision making.
Position Summary
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) serves as a strategic partner to provide leadership for the contemporary operations of the enterprise-wide human resources function within a complex health system. The CHRO ensures people strategy and human resources processes are implemented successfully at all levels and are aligned with the overall health system strategic objectives, including workforce planning, recruitment, compensation administration, training and employee development, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management systems. Experience in developing leaders and managers is required. Additionally, experience in driving improvements in performance management, employee and labor relations, payroll, workforce and talent management, and other employment services is essential.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
