Tenet Healthcare – one of the nation’s premier investor-owned providers of hospital and healthcare services – is seeking an experienced and hands-on operator as its Chief Operating Officer of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital in Southern California.

As a senior executive of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, one of Orange County’s largest acute care providers, the COO will hold a highly visible role and be included in strategic and operational decisions for the hospital. In partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will spearhead the hospital’s three-to-five-year transformation journey to stabilize operations and return the hospital to financial sustainability.

Position Summary

The Chief Operating Officer has responsibility for day-to-day operations of the facility and related services, ensuring that staff deliver high-quality, cost-effective care and services with a positive margin. The Chief Operating Officer will promote the facility’s position and image; reflective of the mission, standards and values of the facility, Tenet and the communities served. The Chief Operating Officer will collaborate closely with peer executives both locally in Southern California, and throughout the Tenet Health System to further the organization’s mission.
