The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center, consistently ranked among the top 40 medical schools and among the top 15 public universities in the United States, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional for the Director, Reimbursement & Financial Analysis.

As an essential system-level Director, this opportunity will play a vital role within the finance leadership team.  As Reimbursement leader, the Director will be responsible for strategically preparing annual forecasts while analyzing and maintaining Wexner’s unique mix system, ensuring the financial integrity of the health system. The leader will also oversee the Financial Analysis department, preparing monthly reports of contractual and bad debt allowance accounts. The Director will work closely with Government Affairs, Quality and Operations Improvement, Graduate Medical Education, and Transplant Departments, collaborating to steward health system-wide success.

Position Summary

The Director, Reimbursement & Financial Analysis has primary management responsibility for providing the services noted in the Opportunity Section. The Director possesses requisite managerial and technical abilities to provide leadership and direct staff in developing and maintaining systems, processes, workflows, and designs which support the hospitals and university finances. The position will also work with hospital managers, senior administrative personnel, physicians, and members of the Financial Services management team.
