McLaren Health Care, a premier $7B integrated delivery system serving Michigan, seeks an innovative executive to serve as its next Vice President of Corporate Supply Chain Management.
This leader has responsibility and administrative accountability for McLaren’s $1B enterprise-wide integrated supply chain portfolio covering clinical and non-clinical spend across the network’s footprint of acute, ambulatory, continuing care, and health plan operations. Key responsibilities include the identification and monitoring of system wide sourcing, contracting, value analysis, GPO compliance, procurement, logistics and distribution for all health system supplies, services and equipment. This position is also responsible for supply chain informatics and staffing.
Position Summary
The Vice President of Corporate Supply Chain Management is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of supply chain operations for McLaren Health Care Corporation. Responsibility includes the identification and monitoring of system wide sourcing, contracting, GPO compliance, procurement, logistics and distribution for all health system supplies, services and equipment. This position is also responsible for supply chain staffing and supply chain informatics.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA or MHA strongly preferred.
- Seven years of hospital management experience including purchasing and supply chain management.
- Ten years of experience in a senior leadership role in supply chain management with demonstrated progressive supervisory responsibility.
- Pharmacy sourcing experience is a plus.
