Rudish Health is currently seeking qualified candidates for future Interim Chief Quality Officer (CQO) assignments with our hospital and health system clients. Position Summary

  • Lead the quality and safety programs across the organization, ensuring alignment with internal goals and external regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee data analytics, identify trends, and guide performance improvement initiatives in areas with identified quality concerns.
  • Foster a learning organization by applying LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and empower frontline decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and all relevant laws and policies.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect in all patient and workplace interactions.
  • Represent the CEO on various system-wide committees, councils, and task forces.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, evaluation, and development of quality and safety staff.
  • Serve as a visible and influential leader, collaborating across departments and with external stakeholders to advance quality and safety goals.

Position Requirements

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Advanced degree or credentialing (e.g., MBA, MHA, MMM) preferred.
  • Recent clinical practice and board certification in area of clinical expertise strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive clinical and administrative leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, team development, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of medico-legal issues, CMS, and Joint Commission standards.
